For apprenticeship companies

The apprentice writes. The trainer approves.

What gets shown in the workshop becomes a guide — with feedback on the step and visible approval. After a three-year apprenticeship, what used to live in one head is written down.

How a guide comes about in an apprenticeship company.

  1. 01Show

The trainer shows the procedure once, at the machine or on screen.

  2. 02Write it down

The apprentice writes it up as a guide — with photos, markup, dictated if they like.

  3. 03Comment

Feedback sits on the step, not in an email. The apprentice revises.

  4. 04Approve

With name and date. From then on, this version applies — for the next apprentice, too.

What you need for it.

No construction kit, no add-on modules. Whatever your plan can do, it can do from day one.

Comments on the step

Feedback sits where it belongs. It never appears in any output — not in the PDF, not behind the QR code.

Visible approval

Draft, in review, approved. Who approved it and when is right there on the document.

Photos with markup

Arrow, frame, speech bubble right on the photo. Whoever looks later sees which lever.

Dictate instead of typing

With the dictation feature of their own device. SkriDoc records no audio, it only receives the text.

One team, one seat per person

Apprentices are regular team members — a seat like any other, shared folders, shared template.

Versions and activity log

Every version is kept. The log shows who created, saved or approved what, and when.

  1. 01Open the camera and point it at the code.
  2. 02Enter the access code — that’s how you protect your own stations, too.
  3. 03Read the guide, without an account and without an app.

Questions we hear a lot.

Do apprentices need their own subscription?
No. Apprentices are regular members of your team and take a seat like everyone else. The Business plan includes five seats, each additional seat costs CHF 9 per month.
Do the comments end up in the finished document?
No. Comments are for working on the text. They appear neither in the PDF nor in Word nor behind a QR code.
Does SkriDoc replace the apprentice’s learning record?
No. SkriDoc is for guides that stay in the company and keep being used. Keep the learning record as before — whatever in it works as a procedure can be written down here for everyone.
Is there an offer for schools or training centres?
There is a separate model for institutions. Write to support@skridoc.ch and we’ll work out what fits.
